What Is 3D Printing Resin?

3D printing resin is a liquid photopolymer material that is selectively cured by light to create solid parts layer by layer. It is commonly used with SLA, DLP, and MSLA 3D printing technologies.

Compared with most FDM filament materials, resin printing can produce finer details, smoother surfaces, sharper edges, and smaller features. Different resin formulations are available for visual models, functional prototypes, flexible parts, heat-resistant components, casting patterns, and specialized applications.
